Under the weather retard

so, i've been seeing alot of this rich boy guy on tv lately. he's a southern rapper who apperently killing it right now. i think he looks very retarded. not like "oh, he wears funny mismatching clothes and is bugging out" retarded...more like he has serious learning disabilities and went to a school where they had a padded "time out" room. however, this opinion was just based on looks. so, the other day, i see him get interviewed and ,lo and behold, it turns out he is kind of retarded. hearing him string together sentences was excruiciating..and not like it is when most southern rappers talk. it was different. it was worse. but it got me thinking about people that, regardless of actual intellegence or extreme learning disabilities, who kinda skated through life going unnoticed for the retards they truely are. somehow, as his life went on, rich boy slipped through the cracks and actually did well for himself. his obvious low iq and inability to converse went unnoticed and he eventually ended up rapping. kinda like wesley willis but i don't think rich boy's people think he's a funny retard. he just somehow got through. or maybe all his boys are just as stupid. who knows...
we all know people like this. i know i've had a handful of friends over the years that are just straight up morons. nice people. fun people. dumb people. but they got through high school, some went to college. most of them have jobs that aren't exactly dope but certainly aren't terrible. they have girlfriends...kids in the future. normal people...just dumber. i think when people picture retards in thier heads they invision the special olympics and speech impediments, but i prefer to picture that guy i used to smoke blunts with how would just sit there and say insane shit all day long. he wasn't "quirky" or "off center" he was just stupid. and the cool thing is there's nothing wrong with that. these retards , for the most part, are pretty fun and simple people. inoffensive in many ways. in fact, i think learning disability groups should seek these people out and get behind them. they're shining examples of special needs people doing well for themselves. ask rich boy. he's fucking rich.
